Pattern #3 from Mitts and Mittens 2016

This pattern walks the line between not enough and too much pattern for a tonal variegated yarn. 3 simple braided cables o set an “X O” that travels up the outer edge of the hand.

Prefer a fingerless mitt? No problem. Instead of nishing the nger section simply work until the hand is 1-1.5” less than the nished desired length, switch to ribbing, and then bind o at your desired length. For the thumb work through the rst decrease rnd, work 2 rnds even, then bind off.
